The CountryBear format was developed by Standef Broadcasting for it’s client stations in the 80’s. It is a hybrid of classic and contemporary country music with emphasis on traditional country. Music stretches from the late 40’s thru the traditional country music of today. The heart of the format is charted country singles during this period with the addition of traditional leaning current Americana songs. 

We have an active database approaching 20,000 songs either on CD or digitally remastered. 

With the advent of internet streaming technology, we have decided to send our signal World
Wide over the Web. Many markets do not have a Classic Country station and many of the songs in our library have been long out of print. We also program many of the new Country Artists who have had limited success getting airplay.
